Automated tagging using AI minimizes video-editing work
Nikkei Inc.(Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President: Naotoshi Okada) will run a booth at “Inter BEE 2018” (International Broadcast Equipment Exhibition, Makuhari Messe, Chiba) held from 14th to 16th November, 2018, with two companies, TV TOKYO Holdings Corporation (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President: Shigeru Komago ) and Sony Network Communications Inc. (Head office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, President : Hirokazu Takagaki). The three companies will present new tool that can automatically give a keyword (tag) for people and company appeared at news program.
The name of new tool is “(tentatively called) Video AI System”. Using voice and image recognition technology by AI, it can rationalize and minimize the task of editing work of “tagging” relied on human resource until now.
